Lustrous black metallic crystal of bixbyite in white rholite matrix from the Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah. The crystal has the classic cross shaped termination. Zero damage. Measures 1.25 x 1 x 0.75 inches ( 3.1 x 2.5 x 2 cm). Bixbyite crystal is just under 0.25 inch ( 0.6 cm) across. Mounted in 2 x 2 inch ( 5 x 5 cm) acryllic display box.
