Interesting specimen of clear quartz crystals covering two sides of irregular rock matrix from the PC Mine, Cataract District, Jefferson County, Montana. One side of the quartz is sprinkled with long hair like metallic crystals of byssolite, which unfortunately don't show up in the photos. Also the quartz crystals on this side have inclusions of byssolite giving them a grey tint. Has a small chip on one termination, not readily noticed, otherwise perfect condition. Measures 6.5 x 5 x 3 inches (16.5 x 12.7 x 7.5 cm).
