Size: 4 x 2.5 inches. From the Swalley Mine in Baxter Springs, Kansas comes this fine calcite crystal with associated sphalerite crystals. This is an old specimen from the 1960's. The calcite crystal is of the deepest honey color, completely translucent, and has a flawless termination. On the side are a couple of nice sphalerite crystals and smaller calcite crystals. Displays perfectly on a small stand, which will be included with the specimen. The bottom of the calcite crystal is a flat cleavage plane that doesn't show when displayed. An excellent specimen from this uncommon locality.
