Size: 3.5 x 2.5 inches. This is another of those unfortunate specimens with good stuff on both sides, but only one can be displayed. Someone with a saw can get two good specimens for the price of one! The top of the piece is covered in deep black/red sphalerite crystals of excellent quality and condition. The reverse side has purple fluorite with sphalerite and some minor damage on one side. Clearly you would want to display the superb sphalerite side. From the Denton Mine in Hardin County, Illinois.
