Transparent cubic fluorite crystals with a light purple tint on a floater specimen from the Heights Quarry, Westgate, Weardale, Durham Co., England. The crystals wrap around all sides with the exception of a narrow drusy "base". The condition is excellent, with the exception of one cleaved crystal. Measures 2.5 x 1.25 x 1.25 inches ( 6.4 x 3.1 x 3.1 cm). Unlike many of the Weardale fluorites, this one does not fluoresce.
