Specimen of light green translucent cubic fluorite crystals from the Redburn Mine near Rookhope, Weardale, County Durham, England. The fluorescence in this piece is faint, so would not be a good specimen for a fluorescent display. The underside of the specimen has a 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) cavity lined with glass clear complex rounded calcite crystals that are superb under magnification. Zero damage. Measures 3 x 2 x 1.25 inches (7.5 x 5 x 3.1 cm).
