Size: Main crystal 1.2 inches long. Fine emerald specimen dug a couple years back by Jamie Hill at his "North American Emerald Mines" at Hiddenite in Alexander County, NC. As in many of my photos, the color is darker in person than shows in the picture. The main crystal has a flawless flat mirro smooth basal termination and a deeper colored "cap". It piggybacks a similar sized but shorter crystal with three other smaller crystals attached to it. The back crystals have slight etching that is typical of Hiddenite area crystals. The main crystal only has minimal etching and a great hexagonal form. This piece should be seen to be fully appreciated.
