Partly translucent root beer brown anatase crystal on crystalline milky quartz from the Shingletrap Mountain Mine near Uwharrie in Montgomery County, North Carolina. The crystal is in perfect condition, no damage. It is bipyramidal with a flat basal termination on top, Overall the specimen measures 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.25 inches. Anatase is 4 mm long.
