A superb example of the very rare pyrite bars found in only a few places and highly coveted by collectors. This one was found on Level 3 of the Buick Mine near Bixby in the Viburnum Trend of Iron County, Missouri, perhaps the world's most famous locality for these rare pieces. This one is a complete floater with no attachment points and no damage of any kind. It has classic stepped form and slight curvature. Measures 4.25 x 2 x 2 inches ( 10.8 x 5 x 5 cm).
