The following list contains specimens that are rare species or specimens of more common species that have unusual crystal forms, habits, associations, or localities. Because most rare species occur in very small crystals, a large number of these specimens will be micromounts, thumbnails, and small matrix miniatures. Just click on the specimen name to see a more complete description and pictures of the specimen. I do not currently have the equipment to photograph micro minerals, so some specimens may not have adequate pictures of the individual crystals.
