Deep honey amber double terminated calcite crystal perched on clast of limestone completely covered in deep red brown sphalerite crystals and minor sparkling drusy quartz crystals from the Elmwood Mine in Smith County, Tennessee. The calcite has a single pointed termination on one end and multiple smaller points on the other end. The sphalerite is of high luster and quality with gemmy red showing around the translucent edges, sometimes called “ruby jack”. A floater with crystals on all sides and a bottom covered in sphalerite crystals. Specimen and all terminations in excellent condition, no cleaves or damage. Measures 6 x 3.5 x 4 inches (15.2 x 9 x 10.1 cm).
