This specimen did not lend itself to photography very well, so the complex parrallel growth crystals are not well portrayed in the photos. The crystals are clear to light smoky, but appear more milky due to numerous internal inclusions and tiny fractures (?). A distinctive piece, I have not seen a similar one. From Tate Blvd. in Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina. Zero damage. A floater with "rehealed" base. Measures 3 x 2.5 x 2 inches ( 7.5 x 6.4 x 5 cm). Formerly in the Russ Holshouser collection.
